Crested Gecko ''Tiger Dalmatian'' Male (1.0) 2
The Crested Gecko (Correlophus ciliatus) is one of the most popular arboreal geckos. The “Tiger Dalmatian” form is a morph with stripes on the body (Tiger pattern) and black spots (Dalmatian spots).
Size: 20–25 cm (including tail).
Weight: 40–60g (adult male).
Form: “Tiger” = stripes/stripes on the body, “Dalmatian” = dark spots all over the body.
Behavior: Arboreal, calm, often tolerant of handling but better not often to avoid stress.
Peculiarity: If it loses its tail, it does not grow it back (it is normal, it lives comfortably without a tail).
Lifespan: 15–20 years with proper care.
Diet:
Main food: Specialized powders (Crested Gecko diet) mixed with water.
Supplementary: Live insects (crickets, dubia cockroaches, grasshoppers) 1–2 times/week.
Insects should be “gut-loaded” (fed with nutrients) and sprinkled with calcium + vitamins.
Water: Small shallow bowl + water that remains on the leaves after spraying.
                                                                                    ...More

Substrate: peat, coco, bioactive mix.
Temperature:
Ideal: 22–26°C.
Night: can drop to 18–20°C.
28°C for many hours can cause stress or even death.
Humidity: 60–80%. Spray 1–2 times/day, to maintain a humid environment but dry in between.
Lighting: Does not require intense UVB, but a low (5%) helps with general health.
Decoration: Branches, cork, hiding places at height. Live plants help maintain humidity.
Tips:
Do not put two males together, they will fight.
A male can live with 2–3 females in a much larger terrarium (60x45x90 cm).
They need a stable environment with good humidity and ventilation.
Easier to handle at night when they are more active.
