Size: Depending on the terrarium, it can reach 30–50 cm in height in well-maintained paludariums.
Flowers: Small white flowers (“spathes”), which add decorative value.
Humidity: High, prefers moist substrate and 60–80% humidity. It does not tolerate drought or standing water at the roots.
Light: Moderate, indirect light, too low light slows growth, while direct sunlight can burn the leaves. Ideal for LED or full-spectrum fluorescent light 8–12 hours/day.
Soil / Substrate: A mixture of peat or soil with good moisture, but well drained to prevent root rot.
