Keep in a cool and well-ventilated area.
Provide bran or cereals as a substrate and food.
Add small amounts of vegetables for hydration.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
Feeding Methods:
In an insect food container: Place a small amount in a smooth bowl from which they cannot easily escape.
With feeding tongs: Ideal for chameleons, geckos and animals that are used to eating from tongs.
Free in the terrarium: They can be left in controlled numbers so that the reptile can chase them.
Before feeding, it is recommended to do:
Gut-loading for 24–48 hours before administration (feeding the worms with nutritious foods such as carrot, apple, oats or special insect foods).
Dusting with calcium powder or vitamins immediately before giving them to the reptile.
