The Iberian Ribbed Newt (Pleurodeles waltl) is a species of fully aquatic salamander native to the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal). The albino variety is rare and stands out for its white-yellow skin and pink or red eyes, giving it a particularly striking and exotic character in the aquarium.
