The Correlophus ciliatus, known as the Crested Gecko, is an arboreal gecko native to New Caledonia, particularly popular with both beginners and experienced keepers. It is considered one of the most peaceful and easy-to-keep reptiles, with an impressive appearance and low requirements. It is characterized by the "eyelashes" (crests) that start above the eyes and extend along the back, as well as by the sticky feet that allow it to easily climb any surface.
The species presents a wide variety of colors and patterns (morphs).
It is nocturnal and active mainly at night.
