Exo Terra Mealworms 34 g (PT1958) is a can of mealworms specially formulated for feeding reptiles, amphibians and other species that consume insects. They have been processed (cooked / canned) inside the can, in order to:
preserve their nutritional value, taste and aroma
to soften their exoskeleton, so that digestion is easier
to detach collagen bonds, making the collagen more absorbable by reptiles
These canned mealworms have a similar nutritional value to live ones, but are easier to use and give to animals.

Moisture: ~ 68.4%
You can feed them as part of the main diet or as a treat.
It is recommended to offer 1-2 mealworms per feeding (depending on the size of the animal) or as indicated in the feeding schedule.
Anything not consumed should be removed after 24 hours to avoid spoilage or the growth of microorganisms.
After opening the can, the remainder should be stored in the refrigerator.
